as a rovers fan i have to say Jon Stead. when we signed him from huddersfield most Rovers fans where sceptical to say the least, however, he did then go on and play a major part in keeping rovers in the premier league giving the fans high hopes. Come the start of the new season he couldnt hit a barn door. Obviously we then sold him to southampton where he failed to score for a whole season (as i remember it, he may have got 1 towards the end) He does seem to have had a better start at Sheff Utd though and good luck to him. Typical that he scored against us this season
