These are exciting times at Liverpool especially after our champs league results and new owners, but this new stadium has been playing on the back of my mind for a few months now and the same goes for a lot of my reds friends across Merseyside. After seeing how quite the emirates stadium is I've become paranoid thinking "WHAT IF WE LOST SOME OF OUR ATMOSPHERE"?. I go to Anfield whenever i have the chance and i am awestruck every time I'm there (i have been going for 25 years)and there really isn't anywhere else like our beloved fortress. I wonder will our fans become victims to the new design? Will it segregate fans and isolate parts of the crowd? The beauty with Anfield is that as a whole our fans are 1 they are all together and therefore maximum noise is generated for our team. I know that our fans will always be there and always be in full voice but will this stadium take away what Anfield has given our team so much in the past?

Rick Parry as been having conversations with a group of Liverpool fans called RTK (reclaim the kop) and this exact subject was discussed. The designs of the ground aren't finalized yet so they are looking at having a "KOP" in the new ground so not to lose the atmosphere.The problem isn't a kop end as such but the problem is daytripping fans who contribute nothing to the atmosphere but only filling the coffers of the souvenir shop.Its these "fans" that start stupid songs copied off Soccer AM eg who r ya, easy easy(stupid seal clap) etc . This is not being aloof but Liverpool fans are different from all the rest and originality is our forte not sheep like pompey fans. I've sat next to people and all they do is take videos and talk to their mates on the phone saing "yeh i'm at anfield the kops brilliant etc etc" and then proceeding to root about in their Liverworld bags and put their stupid jester hats on but do absolutely nothing regarding the atmosphere they shout about!
