From Yorke and Cole to Saha & Himself Considering Man Utd are supposedly known for their attacking football, what in the world has happened to our attacking options? Selling Van Nistelrooy, whether a good decision or not, has left us struggling up front, and with little sign of a valid replacement. Surely Saha should be no more than a squad player, and he has only 8 league goals to his name from 24 appearances, 18 of which have been starting. Not a great strike rate for a team that has been scoring for fun (66 in 29 games). Furthermore, Saha is the only out and out striker and should be topping our scoring charts. Even Rooney, in the season where he seems to have a scoring drought every 5 minutes, and also seems to play nearer the defence more often than not has bagged 10 league goals in 26 games, 25 of which have been starting. Ronaldo has 16 from 27, with 26 starting appearances, although he is the penalty taker. The point is, while it is never bad to find goals from everywhere, surely a striker with a good strike rate like Van Nistelrooy achieved would be of great benefit to Utd. The days of Yorke and Cole are long gone, but the days of Man Utd being known for their great forward play need not be lost as well. Fergie knows what he is doing, but he surely must be looking at getting a world class striker (who he plans to play up front!!!), and let's just hope that the Torres rumours are more than just rumours.
Re: From Yorke and Cole to Saha & Himself bring back cole!!!!! na i think you should maybe try for michael owen, thats beneficial for england and man united
Re: From Yorke and Cole to Saha & Himself Torres or Villa.. one of these guys are coming to Old Trafford.

Edit: i just found this... <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Athletico Madrid have admitted that they expect Fernando Torres to exit the club leaving Manchester United in pole position to capture the Spain striker in a ?27m deal</div> Maybe torres will leave
Re: From Yorke and Cole to Saha & Himself Im pretty sure we will sign Villa and Torres likley will go to Man Utd. And Owen wouldnt join United.

If we match that bid, Villa would want to come to us anyway. Think he could stand Jose Mowhinho?
Re: From Yorke and Cole to Saha & Himself yeh, i said he has contacts if you read what i put earlier. still, im hoping for Him or Eto'o or if Ronaldihno leaves, him for ?70 M

Re: From Yorke and Cole to Saha & Himself Chill everyone, lets just put an end to this and lets agree that Villa is going to Old Trafford
