More bad news for Liverpool's CL opponents PSV Eindhoven. PSV already had defenders Reiziger, Alcides, Kromkamp and Da Costa ruled out either through injury or because they are ineligible to play in the CL and now the Dutch side appear to have lost their defensive lichpin Alex to yet anoter injury. During their league game against Exelcior Alex appears to have suffered a torn hamstring. Alex was the most influential player on the pitch in PSV's recent 1-1 draw against Arsenal, a result that saw the north London side crash out the Champions League. PSV are now officially out of defenders and will likely have to call on their youth team to field a complete back line.
Shame, My heart bleeds. Doesn't really matter have already seen them off in the group. They are too defensive to have a chance against us.
