Ok the two contenders are defiantly Ronaldo and Drogba. They have both been awesome this season but who will win the title?

On another note who will win young player of the year?

My vote is for Fabregas (but hey im bias [IMG])

Discuss and no slating other teams, we don't want that here its a sophisticated discussion between real fans of football!!!

I think Berbatov could be coming into contention.

But the outright winner has to be Drogba. Without him Chelsea would be out of the FA cup and Man U would have won the title. Also if you take him out of the strikeforce this season there isn't much left.

Fabregas is a very good player, but it's not quite his time yet. Arsenal have gone out of all competitions without really putting up the sort of resistance you would have got with say Vierra. My bias would point me towards Ronaldo, but I think Drogba will get it. Without him this season I think Chelsea would be around fourth or fifth in the premiership. Scholes is probably worth a mention, the rest last year has done him a lot of good. Not seen much of Berbatov until today, but if that kind of performance is typical, I'd expect him to be on the shortlist too.

It's down between Drogba and Ronaldo without a doubt. Both men were key in getting their teams in their positions today. If Drogba had of been sold during the summer, Chelsea would not of been second. He has been clinical and a deadly force in scoring goals, Chelsea were lucky he stayed after Shevchenko being a waste of money.

Ronaldo has been unbelievable for us this season, after all the criticism he received during the world cup, he bounced right back and showed everyone why he deserves to be given credit. His goals have been important for us, guiding us to the top of the premiership for the time being, and still in the F.A cup and Champions League.

It has to be down to these two, but I can see an outside pipping them to it.
