Are the "Golden" Generation now just Old?

With the likes of Gary Neville (32), Ryan Giggs (33), Paul Scholes (32), Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (34) and Edwin Van der Saar (36) surely reaching the "twilight" of their footballing careers - what have Manchester United got in the way of future cover for these players, and will it see them struggle for a few seasons to replace them?

What do you United fans think?

Sorry, but what! Neville, Giggs and Scholes have at least 3 more seasons left him them, Van Der Sar has about 2. We certainly won't "struggle" without these players, yes it will be hard to replace their presence that they bring to the squad, but Fergie knows that when the time comes he will find the perfect replacements.

Van Der Sar will be replaced by Ben Foster, Solskjaer by Guiseppe Rossi, but we need to find a lef midfielder and central to replace Giggs and Scholes. As for Neville, the Brazillian twins are arriving soon so we can see what they are capable of.

Don't worry about United, we can handle ourselves [IMG]

Yeah I do indeed think have at least 3. If they keep injury free then they will do just fine.

Max, next season? Haha. GN is 32. Who retires when they are 33. I think 3 more years for him and scholes.

age aside they wont perform as wel for the next whatever seasons that they compete in. And to be honest in the next 3 seasons i think it will be chelsea vs arsenal for the title as arsenal have one hell of a youth team coming through and chelsea well haha we will just buy a youth team from some where lol [IMG]
