He started coaching in 2000. -In 2002/03 season, he won his first Super Liga (portuguese league). He set a record for the maximum number of points possible -He also won the Portuguese Cup and the Uefa Cup in the same year - The following year (2003/04), he won the Super Liga again. He lost the Portugues Cup to Benfica in the final - He won the coveted CL in the same season as well - In the 04/05 season, he becomes the coach of chelsea. He wins the PL and secures the record for most points gathered in one year - In the 05/06 season, he wins the Pl for the 2nd consecutive season I havent included the small trophies like the Charity shield and Carling Cup wins. For the life of me, I dont understand why some people have refused to acknowledge that he is a great coach. Some accuse me of being a Rooney hater but I believe that the questions I have of him are far more valid than the questions people have of Jose. His record speaks for itself. If you do recognize his ability as a coach, than we are in agreement with eachother.
<div class="quote_poster">united4life Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I've got nothing against his record, just his personality...</div> Lol yeah i hate his attitude. Every interview with him is Interviewer: so Jose how do you think you'll do against xxxxxxxx Mourinho; we will win (in stupid Portugeezer accent
It because he has all the money of Abramovich (or used to) that everyone thinks he isn't as good as they say he is. I think he is a great coach, without the money and the players we've been able to buy obviously we wouldn't have done AS well as we have done, but he would've got us through a lot better than Ranieri (who i must say, his interviews were fucking legendary!)
