I got SKY last year and all was fine. Then my TV broke. Got a new TV, but now I can't control the volume with the SKY remote ... I have to do it with the TV remote. This is a pain. Anyone know how to fix this small problem??
Call a sky numpty, I mean phone answerer, I mean technical specialist based in Livi or Dumpfermline and they will take approximately three weeks to talk you through it. There are different settings for each type of TV and you need to press a set combination of buttons to configure your googlebox. Roll a big fat one and take a couple of blues before you call. Oh, and tell the good lady to take the cat for a walk to ensure you can't kick it. Good luck
Sky volume remote worked fine for us, then it suddenly stopped working. This has happened to alot of people I know.
Merely cellotape your new tv controller to the rear of your Sky controller. Change your channels as normal on the Sky controller until you are interested in a programme of your choice whereupon you will flip the handset over in order to adjust the sound settings on your new tv controller. Easy
In the Sky instruction book there is a 4 digit codes for romotes. Choose the one for the brand of your TV. There are instructions on how to type these in aswell. If that one code doesnt work, call sky. They will need the brand and model of your TV. This happened to me last year. Hope that helps
