Shavchenko. At AC he was undoubtedly one of the best strikers in the world but ever since his move to chelsea he's been crap. But then again its his forst season so he might have better luck next season.

Id say that the most overrated player is already this Diaby. Arsenal fans must be turning into their manager, a senile old fool. Diaby is not a patch on Sissoko, a true footballing warrior.

Seems a bit harsh seeming he's only 19. I thought Sheva was a piece of crap but i'm giving him a chance.

Max, I think you're getting 'overrated' and 'playing crap' mixed up. [IMG]

    Really?

Walcott is going to be the next Owen but Better. Him and Rooney up-front for England will be the next greatest Strike-partnership.

Walcott needs a bit more strength and skill.

I'm fed up with the hype over Walcott, there is nothing special about him.

Every single world-class foreigner who come to england to play in 'the best league in the world', they really are all world-class footballers but as soon as they start playing in england they get thier careers ruined!!!!h

Henry wasn't world class when he joined arsenal, it was because of arsenal that he became world-class.
A good example is Veron for Scumchester United, easily one of the best midfielders in the game when he went there.

Now i know there may be a backlash against this but as you are saying OVERATED it as to be Wayne Rooney. Lets not forget ,this fella cost what 25-30mil? Now I'm sorry but for that price to go with the hype I want a world beater. Now don't get me wrong I don't think Rooney is a bad player but I think he's nowhere near as good as he is made out to be . Listen to the likes of Motson ,Gray and that turncoat Lawrenson etc he only has to kick the ball into touch when there's a foul and its the greatest kick to touch since Jonny Wilkinson did 1!
