What a ridiculous debate about who is the biggest cheat, they are all the same, and you can stick rooney in with them as well, hes as much a cheat. Ronaldo is an expert and red nose says that if a defender goes near him in the box that he is entitled to go down. If cheating is encouraged by the managers then you cant blame the players and maureen is just as guilty, look at porto and look at chelsea, both noted for cheating. It makes me laugh to see you ranting on about who is a cheat when they are all cheats. [IMG]

Anyone that has ever dived is a cheat but there are a lot of ways of cheating, some of them people get away with and not called cheats.

Is a defender pulling a strikers shirt any worse than a striker diving?

One can win his team a Pen and the other can save his team a goal.

if the refs would book players for diving, this would stop.

I noticed that Ronaldo got booked a few days ago for diving, and then he stopped it for the rest of the game.

The refs are scared of the big clubs

Drogba has cut out the diving a lot this year and has been noticed as a better player than what he was.

Ronaldo doesnt dive as much as he used to and now he is noticed as a better player than he was too.

Robben I think is a good enough player like the other two menchioned but just dives too much which is giving people a bad image of the player.

Jose Mourinho I think does encourage diving because Porto have done it and now Chelsea do it.

Alex Ferguson I think he has only told Ronaldo if a defender sticks a leg out then you fall over it.

other than that every player dives at least once in there career so is there any point in fussing about it ?

Players diving as been going on for years English and foreign players. Managers do seem to encourage diving at some teams not mentioning any names(fergie, maureen) but its up to the referees to stamp on it straight away. If a player is diving about in the 1st 10 mins and gets a booking he must be soft in the head to carry on but some do (ronaldo) but never seem to get a 2nd yellow because they are scared of the manager. I know it would be hard to implicate but FIFA should put increasing fines on players who constantly flout the rules.

Get ready for the backlash of Do Liverpool players not dive you W****R. And I know who you are!

Well yeah they should book players and it would cause less diving but if they book a player and they really did get hit or fouled then the refs might get fired if its a penalty or something and its a really close game there probally scared of that

yes but in that game ronaldo didn?t dive he actually got fouled and got a yellow card instead of a penalty.

the only way i can think of stoping cheats and divers is to teach younger players that it is wrong.

Ronaldoz da best of da lot with Drogba second, both of them hav cut 'most' of their diving seen in pervious season which has shown them as better playerz they've both been amazing to watch however Ronaldo tops Drogba evry time with his ball skillz!

The problem with teaching the younger players is that itz the playerz from abroad diving n they love it in other leagues, itz only the prem that we dispise it coz we're the fairest league in the world
