All you geordie fans were saying that Martins was a better signing than Berbatov a few months back. Do you now still really believe Martins deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as someone like Berbatov. Come on admit it Berbs is a bit special while Martins is just decent. Also can you also now admit that Lennon is miles better than N'zogbia. What were you newcastle fans thinking of when you said the zog was a better prospect than Lennon because Wenger wanted to buy him...Lol as if he would not want to buy Lennon if he could. Oh an another Taylor v Dawson, another non contest, while Dawson is on the fringes on the England sqaud, Taylor is U21 international. You must surely realise now that Dawson is the much better defender. Only one I'll give you that I was wrong about is Robbo V Given, yes Given is better really don't know why he does not consider a move to a bigger club. Personally I do not think you have a player in any position that is better than what we got and our strength in depth puts you lot to shame. You are no longer on the same level as us, you have fallen behind. Any Newcastle fans I have just cut a big slice of humble pie for you to eat... Enjoy.
they are about the same when it comes to the overall ratings of the players. they are both 2 great players and in all honesty they have adapted to the premiership very well
berbatov is a more rounded player than martins but martins is far more explosive, depends what type of striker suits the way the team play. Lennon wipes the floor with N'Zogbia Taylor could easily be as good as Dawson, some of his displays this seasoon have held an abject defence together, he is still young and i believe will be a great defender given vs robbo owen vs defoe duff vs any of spurs left sided flops parker vs jenas i'd take the newcastle player everytime Spurs are the better side this year because they have a better manager and better defence, further up the field there isn't that much to choose
Jenas get in the england team over Parker everytime. Jenas scores goals, parker runs around like a headless chicken and tackles anything that moves. He is NOT international class, while Jenas has the potential to be. Two england manager have prefered Jenas over Parker and so do I. Parker has been poor this season, was much better last season.
I am a huge fan of Berbatovs ,Like you say Martins is decent but Berbatov is world class his touch and vision is second to none regarding strikers in this league at the moment as specially as Henry does'nt look the same player at the moment. Was it around 10.9 mil for him? if so an absolute bargain in todays market. But I have to disagree about Jenas Ok I don't see him week in week out but I have yet to see him actually play well enough for me to actually praise him for anything. Mediocre at best.
