Know I'm not saying Crouch is as good as Berbatov in any way shape or form but until Berbatov went to Spurs you would have jumped at the chance of signing him. In a lot of your other threads you actually seem to be 1 of the only 1s that talks a bit of sense on here but like many of the others you jump on Crouch's back (if thats possible). Just because he looks freakish doesn't make him a bad player. Just look at the amount of goals he has scored for Liverpool and the quality of some of the strikes as well not to mention being the only forward who can score for England at the moment as well. He's 3rd top scorer in the CL this season. So he must be doing something right ,also he's never scored as a sub for Liverpool so his goals to game ratio is very good if you take the sub appearences out where he normally only gets 10 mins or so. If he doesn't score against the bigger teams who scored the winning goal against Chelsea in the charity shield when our 'B' teambeat them and who's goal was it that knocked Man Ure out of last seasons FA cup?
how did i get owned? lets take this year, as thats the stuff i can find its fair hard to find old stats on players, this year hes started 15 games, came on as a sub 11 times (one of them was in the 1st half) and has scored 6 in the 1225 minutes of football hes played not the greatest tally really is it. now then lets take mr Solskjær, he has played 6 games, 6 sub appearences (2 in the 1st half) played 589 minutes of football and has scored 6 goals im gonna give crouchy his dues in the cl, as you said he has done well and in the group stages got four goals which i guess is pretty good. with england though where it really counted (qualifier, world cup) this year hes scored one. just in friendlies where no one plays to there best. so based on the lack of goals, which is usually a sign of poor striker, i say hes not all that good
