If rangers are punished for their latest 'indiscretion' and if like some in the media think they will either be a) banned from Europe or have European matches played behind closed doors. The financial implications on a team who at this time are already in a weakened financial position would be catastrophic. Would this sound the death knell for the mighty Glasgow rangers as a 'force' in Europe and at home? Would this have a knock on effect financially, with JJB also calling into question their association with the club. Surely the fear of being of being associated with a social pariah would make any family orientated business worried? I am speaking hypothetically of course as these events have only been debated in various circles and have not been acted upon by any of football's governing bodies...YET.
