I remember a time not too long ago when everyone was laughing at Ronaldo. Even a lot of United fans were having a dig at him, and comparing him unfavourably to David Beckham, etc... Apparently, he was just a show pony. Nothing more. Not one to say "I told you so", but I was always saying that Ronaldo was one of the most talented young players every to join the club; and that a player with no fear like him who always wanted the ball whatever his form, was destinted to be great. Things like consistent delivery/final ball always tend to come with a little more maturity. And now look at Ronaldo go! It just reinforces how fickle fans can be sometimes. And it's a reminder that talented players should always be given time.
The reason he has improved so much is because there is no Roy Keane to harangue him every time he made a mistake. Keane was jealous of his skill, infact the whole team has played with more freedom hoping putting to bed the myth of Roy Keane.
