I cant help but thinking, if we do go on and get 5th place in the league, which I think is well within our grasp, along with our cup exploits. Would you consider our season more successful than Arsenal?

I know we went out to them in CC but it was the semi's. We have been further in the F.A cup and also further in Europe than them.

Looks like the will finish 3rd which honestly is rubbish compared to what the Arsenal fans expect and assume.

In summary:
<ul>
[*]Tottenham - 5th (assuming)
[*]Arsenal - 3rd (assuming)
<ul>
[*]Tottenham - Carling cup semi's
[*]Arsenal - Carling cup runners up
<ul>
[*]Tottenham - Quarter final F.A Cup
[*]Arsenal - 5th round F.A. Cup
<ul>
[*]Tottenham - Minimum Quarter Final UEFA Cup (its still Europe)
[*]Arsenal - Last 16 of Champions League
So you judge! Who has had the more successful season???

This season, Arsenal have been more successful. Next season? Spurs could well overtake Arsenal. It's certainly possible, just as it's possible that they won't.

Considering they will keep Bervatov, Keane they "might" have a chance if Arsenal has:

1.)An Injured Thierry Henry (Like this season)
2.)An Injured Van Persie

Other than that, I expect Arsenal to beat the Spurs and make their way into 1st or 2nd place next season.

Spurs could have a wonderful season if Martin Jol doesn't sell Berbatov which I couldn't see happening and doesn't buy plenty of players like last season where he had to change the whole system again cuz of the plenty of players he has bought. He should just buy 2-3 quality players

I think Tottenham and Arsenal in the near future and going to be BIG contenders in the Premiership, both of them have got young, unexperienced maybe, teams and need time to gel. I cant wait to see more of Tottenham, I've never been a fan of Wenger, he puts too much pressure on his players..

Arsenal finished higher in the league.
Arsenal played in the champions league.

Although.. even by Arsenal's own high standards it was a faliure of a seson because they have no silver wear.

But.. Tottenham have no silver wear aswell, and Arsenal finished higher in the leauge.

The race for finishing in the top 4 and quialifying in the Champions league is something the spurs have not been able to acomplish in quite some time. Besides, this past season it wasnt even close, 2 years ago it was, we were actually sweating it against them for a place in the champions league. Mostly I think its an overrated thread, there hasnt been any proof of the spurs actually mounting something espectacular to take the league or spank arsenal, spurs finished 8 points behind us (which is close) but its still yet to be seen.My opinion is Arsenal had a bad season, mainly due to injuries and inexpirience. But yes I think the spurs have improved (Berbatov), but I would not say succesfull, cause they did not finish at least in the top 4 and once again did not qualify for CL.[IMG]

I think Tottenham r a underrated team and will do well next season. I think Arsenal did better this season but have a lot of young and inexperienced players which could mean them not doing as well next season
