Rafa Benitez is killing English football by his refusal to give young English talent to come through. Benitez is not even attempting to scout in the lower leagues or schools football and instead opting to buy foriegn players. Im really concerned regarding Arsenal and Liverpools stifling of young English football talent. [IMG]

i gotta agree, it was hard enough for young english kids to get in the game before buying foreign players was a fad, now english youth stand little chance apart from the very low clubs, although i would be sor happy to play for any pro club to be honest

Probably explains why England are going to be a very low rated team in a few years time. All English nationality players are in Championship and below leagues because they are released from major teams. The more we buy foreign talent the better chance their country has of having world class players at their disposal.

And for the clubs side of things.. it's all a monopoly. You see a highly rated star and you bid for him, it's a basic routine. If this players benefits your club in a few years time then why shouldn't you bring him in? Who cares if their isn't enough English youngsters being brought through.. maybe they are not good enough.

Two sides to the situation, and the club side is more important imo.
