How good it is to be so loved by the powers that be at White Hart Lane. They have gone out of their way to say how delighted they are with the support that we Spurs fans give the team. As the website says, "Your support both at home and in Europe has been unstinting and is much appreciated". Our Chairman, David Levy, even went so far in the Annual Report to say that he wanted, "to pay tribute to our loyal fans ? filling White Hart Lane to the rafters for every game, highly vocal, passionate and ever demanding; and travelling many miles in all weathers. Thank you for your magnificent support".It is really nice to know how much we are appreciated.

In fact the management are so appreciative that that they are going to reward us all by increasing ticket prices for next season. Well thank you very much for that Mr Levy.

The club's Chief Executive said on Five Live tonight that the increases would "only" be about ?1.28 per game. Well, I do not know how much he pays for his ticket (I would guess nothing)but for me, a mere East Stand Lower season ticket holder, that will be be an increase of around 5% - somewhat more than inflation.

How much longer are we mugs going to put up with being so disgracefully treated by the people that run OUR club? And yes, OUR is in capitals because it is intended to be a shout. It is OUR club Mr Levy, not yours, not the boards, not the shareholders - it is OURS and we demand respect and consideration. Not shoddy treatment like this.

So what can we do about this? Well, it would be fatuous to suggest that we should not buy tickets for next season but there is something we could do. I suggest that we all simply refuse to buy programmes and boycott the club shop for the first three months of next season. That would wipe out all the additonal revenue they hope to screw out of us and, maybe teach them a lesson.

What about it Spurs fans? [IMG]

How much is a season ticket at White hurt lane then? Mine at anfield is £610 don't know how much yet for next season. Our board are talking to the fans about the new stadium design and pricing which is very pleasing to say the least. The new owners have sent a questionaire out about it all asking about ticket prices, beer prices, singing sections ,pre game+half time+ even aftergame entertainment ,etc which sounds good as it seems like they actually want to listen to the fans. Hopefully this will be the start of something good for the fans for once.
