We been looking for a natural left winger, and harry kewell is almost certain to leave liverpool in the summer. i think harry kewell would be perfect for spurs!! a few years ago, we tried to get him so i wouldnt be suprised of spurs made a bid in the summer, plus i dont think he would be that expensive either. probably snap him up for about 5million, kewell would be a fantastic signing and would cover our problems on the left wing, which would mean lennon would play rightwing all the time which is his position. in terms of strikers, if we lose mido i dont think we should buy any other striker, because whoever he is, he will be bench warming most games. so keep defoe, berbz and keane. least that way, keane and defoe will get a lot of games. all we need is a left winger and a great left back.i think we should try and get a european class left back, not some english trollop like gareth barry etc.
Harry Kewell isn't the best player for Spurs, he is too injury prone and is a waste of money. Spurs need to stop buying reject players and start brining in quality that will boost their chances in Europe.
I for one hope he stays with Liverpool. Last season he was great and scored some great goals. Liverpool's left side has been extremely weak this season and I think we need to give him a chance to prove his worth there before taking any bids for him. If he does get injured after that or he turns out to not fit the squad anymore, then I'd be willing to let him go. I've always been a fan of Kewell and I think he's a great player but has been extremely unlucky with his injuries. I'd even say that if not for his injuries, he may be up there with the best left wingers, including Ryan Giggs.
in 2 minds with kewell if someone comes in with a decent offer i would'nt say no personally he's a good player but who's to say he won't be injured again very injury prone, one last chance imo
When healthy Kewell is an asset....I dont think he needs to prove anything to liverpool to keep himself at the club. It would be a loss for Liverpool if he goes somewhere else, especially with he arrival of torres.
They should keep him for one more season to see if he can step up. Hes a great player all he needs to do is to stay injury free for the whole season. It also depends on how he plays in the Asian Cup. I really hope we keep him unless we buy a better left winger.

He is a world class player when at his best and injury free and if he gets through the Cup without any nagging injuries, he'll be in Liverpool's first XI straight away and he'll stay there because he'll produce performances that show he's worth it.

It jsut depends if we get Heinze. If we do (i doubt it though) Rafa will push Riise up to left wing.
I read the other day that Man Utd don't want to sell Heinze to a Premiership rival and IMO they're smart not to because he's also a great player on his day and to send him to Liverpool wouldn't help their bid to defend their title this season. You have to admit that if Harry Kewell went to another club in the Premiership, injury free, he would star for them even though he is 29 right now.
Well its about time he had an injury free season, if he goes to tottenham i think he could do well, when he came to liverpool from leeds there was a little bit of pressure on him, but if he goes to tottenham people wont be expecting much so he might just suprise them.
