Good morning fellow DYC posters, last night while I was flicking through the numerous sky channels I came across a rather interesting piece on ex-Arsenal skipper Tony Adams. It was a sort of on the surface type look on what led such an inspirational leader to the bottle. I have to say it makes you wonder whether or not he was hammered while on the call of duty. Some of his erratic displays in the Arsenal red were of such a level, you weren't too sure if you were watching a sunday league match. On the other hand in most of his games he was the main man, the leader and a motivational icon, so what led him to go from hero to zero?

    Your Thoughts?

What interested me about Adams was that he had the total respect of that whole Arsenal( and England) team even though they must've known what he was like. i even venture that his teamates played more for him than George Graham.

But let's also remember that it was the jail sentence that really sorted him out( and that he'd could've easily killed someone that day)

I'm glad he's got things back on track even though it quite disturbing that he seem's to have turned into Lord Byron!

As a city fan i would have loved Tony Adams in my team.I can't think of higher praise.
