Who do you think the BEARS will hire as the new head coach? I don't know to much about GRIMM, other then he is the STEELERS OL coach(which after this year scares me a little)LOL!
Dick Juron is looking for a new job....in the porn industry. He's changing his name to Dick Juron "top-of-me".
Other than the 10+ seasons he spent at Washington (4 SB appearances), I believe he has coached at Washington and Pittsburgh. SteelerFan may have an opinion on how he is doing there.
Russ Grimm is incredible. I don't know how he'll fare as an OC or HC but I know that if Mike Mularkey takes the Buffalo HC job, Grimm would be the top canidate for promotion to OC. And I would support it.
Lovie Smith it is! I'm actually relieved. I thought for sure the Steelers were going to be stripped down and left with basically Cowher and a handful of inexperienced sub-coaches. But you guys came through and left us Grimm. Grimm should have been Angelo's choice, but instead he went with a defensive guy, Lovie Smith. The guy that couldn't win in the cold in Tampa and now can't win outdoors. But Smith is polished in the fact that he's articulate and soft-spoken. Should be interesting.... But anyway... just glad you guys didn't take Grimm!
I hope he does well for us. All we need is another problem. We will find out soon if he can win in the cold SF. See, now you have got me all worried over the whole situation. I hope we can keep our DC, we may still need him. Good luck BEARS, I hope that we made a wise decision. GO BEARS!!!! "I LOVIE WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER"
One thing he has going for him, he has the perfect MLB for the cover 2...(which is really a cover 3 if played like the Bucs play it)....Urlachers ability to get deep and make plays all over the field could take the cover 2 to a new lvl, and it will hide the deficiencies of your corners, I think its a good hire
beef i think holdman will benifit a lot from the cover 2 also much like derrick brooks has, it can make a less talented player look really good by putting him in position to make plays
Mike Brown also might become the premier cover 2 safety in the league, his ability to ball hawk will serve him well when he drops into that 1/2 the field zone, they must find some 1 gap DT's though to make it work(hey, theres atleast one available named Sapp)
That would be great BEEF, if he can just leave all that hoopla in TAMPA and just come play the game for us. We could definately benifit from having SAPP join the team. I don't know if we will go for him or not though, I hope(I think). Imagine this defence with SAPP being able to put pressure on the QB and URLACHER being able to roam the field, could be scary! Pursue the potential SAPP property pronto, done!
The problem with "Deadbeat Daddy" Sapp is that he's a player on the decline and I don't think the Bears are looking for the quick fix. If the Bears were just a player of two from winning the Super Bowl, then I would say go for it, but I think the Bears should think a little longer term. (You can't hardly say long term in the NFL anymore.)
