My keyboard is so messed up

When I press shift + 3 it should come up a pound sign but it comes up #
when I press shift + 2 it should come up " but it comes up @

Anyone know how to fix this mess

I have bought a new keyboard and it still does the same thing..

 

try fixing it in the bios.

 

word of warning: If you dont understand BIOS then DO NOT go into it. You can seriously mess up your computer if you dont understand BIOS.

Yeah thats true flight. sorry i shouldve added a warning. But, if you can get someone who knows, then im positive its do with the bios.

 

okay any ideas how it messed up in the first place and who know BIOS?

 

Maybe it's the registry.

 

Google and see what you can find, but dont start messing around with BIOS and other programs your not familiar with.

Is it set to English US instead of English UK?

 

English (UK).. I dont want to touch the BIOS just incase it messes up the computer..
