I rang the world football phone-in this morning and spoke to one of the guys (Andy) about Luis Nani and Ricardo Quaresma. I asked who he thought was the better player and who we would most likely sign. He said he thought we could sign him for under 10 million because he only has 2 years left on his deal and because of our connections with Sporting Lisbon. Also he thought that Nani would be the better signing as he is only 19 and is 4 years younger than Quaresma. Andy said that he thought Quaresma is a good player but Nani would adjust to the premiership better than Quaresma because of his style of play. He?s faster and a bit more direct. I listen to these guys every week and they know what they're talking about. Anyone agree with what he said?
Yeah, I've seen Nani on youtube (which I know is no authority) and he looks like he has a lot of skill, I would go for him, he's tricky, has a clever shot on him and I'm impressed. Also apparently, he is mates with CR7, so it looks on...Quaresma, would mean Ronaldo plays on the left - No thanks!
