I have the feeling that Nakamura will shortly be playing premiership football.
He is odds on for spl player of year and the last two winners of that award i.e Petrov and Maloney have moved on to the premiership after winning. Will Nakamura be the next?

Yeah I think he will cross the border to the premiership. But with Celtic he's gaurenteed Champions League Football and almost guaranteed consistent title reigns. I cant see him going to join one of the top 4.. I could see him at Spurs maybe.

Needs to bulk up a bit, from what i've seen he has good skill and is quality at set pieces - just lacking strength

But quite a few players lack strength and still play well in the EPL. Aaron Lennon being a good example[IMG]

I dont care the only thing he can really do is score freekicks so if he goes I aint bothered he is a vital part of our team but he will cost around 6 to 9 Million and we could replace him..

He was linked to Man Ure not long ago. You wouldn't think they'd be interested in a 1 trick pony who's only any good at dead balls.

Hang on scrap that last sentence i forgot about Beckham

I wouldn't go that far. He was when he just did step-overs but he's become a well-developed and matured player IMO

Ronaldo is a far better player when he's not doing his stupid little tricks. He very rarely beats people with them but when he runs at them with pace he's miles better. He only does them stupid stepovers when he's 20 yds from them and looks a prick. Mark Walters used to do them and he looked a prick as well.

I honestly don't think he has the skill or the pace for the Premiership.

I dont either HeadCase I think the only thing he is good enough for in the Premiership is freekicks... Scottish football is much easier and occaisenally Champions League games which he does well in but he would do well every week..

Theo Walcott (if he gets a run), Luis Garcia and Mark Gonzalez are pretty small too and they play alright.

Nakumura IMO is good enough for the premiership, he wont make as much impact but he will be good enough considerin that he is Japan's best player. I cant see him joining a top four club.

If he does, I hope he does well...

Some EPL 'rookies' this season haven't exactly lived up to standard, such as Andriy and Michael B, though I don't blame em...

For his sake, and whoever decides to buy him, I hope Nakamura does well... if ever he goes English! [IMG]
