It's worrying to see your goal keeper complaining to a defender about scoring an own goal about 5 seconds before the ball has crossed the line. Maybe he could have turned and ran for the ball, just a thought. Well nevermind, United have traditionally given our keepers a 3-game-screw-up-and-get-out-of-jail-card and he's decided to use it now. That explains the sudden appearance of blast the ball at goal, hit keeper, keeper throws the ball back at you and in it goes, that we have seen two games in a row now.
Van der saar easily could have run back and prevented the ball crossing the line but instead went to shouting at the defenders, very bad move.
No offence...but you could do a lot worse than Van Der Sar...Kusczak is miles behind him and if you look around the Premiership the only other good keepers are a stout Finn (Niemi), an angry German(Lehmann), a keeper who should be playing at the top half of the table (Foster),a balding American (Friedel) and a keeper with more haircuts than Denis Rodman (James)
