If level on points, the team who fares best in the head to head games should come out on top. Assuming Chelsea win in the league game at SB. then it'll be 4 points out of 6 to them

Thats what they do in Spain and Italy and really its the only fairest way. [IMG]

No its not pointless what if it was United and Chelsea for example and United won at Old Trafford 1-0 and Chelsea won at Stamford Bridge 1-0 then what??

Hahaha, bitter that your team didn't stick the goals away earlier in the season much?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Goal difference is fine.

When has the EPL ever come down to GD anyway? Never.

When Arsenal won the league in 89 it they won it on goal average. Liverpool and Arsenal were on the same points same goal difference but because Arsenal had scored more goals they won it even though Liverpool had the better defence.

'89 was the old Division one. The Prem didn't arrive until 1992 so, techincally, the EPL hasn't been decided on goal difference.
