Hihi, I did my first ever sig, and 2nd ever sig this morning. It didn't take me long, especially on the second one, its a bit...blank. Comments and words of criticism please. You should also get rid of the 'Striker in midfield attire' too. But overall, a splendid first two efforts. Well done.
With the Drogba Sig, move the Chelski badge below the Drogba render and lower its opacity just a little more. With the Lampard sig, don't do a pop put sig because they aren't really the best way to do a sig. Slap a border around the lampard sig, with the text, try adding a drop shadow and maybe emboss it to make it stand out. Good attempts, keep doing your works and you will see yourself improving
Search Deviant Art for Photoshop brushes and LIGHT textures. When using the light texture put them on "Lighten" and you'll get a cool effect. Download some abstract brushes and stuff, then brush them over your background, set that layer on soft light or whatever looks best and you will get nice effects. Also remember, Gradiants and Gradiant Maps ARE YOUR FRIEND!
I have this "kit" its called Flock. Its made by the 22pixels company. a lot of fonts/brushes all together.

Okay. Render- Try not to desaturate it to make it look grey. Border- Add a black or white border Background- Solid good background, you should add in a few brushes on soft light to make a good effect. Text - Good Your getting better, just keep doing more work and you will see yourself improving and becomming more confident in trying new stuff.
Going back and... Fixing up Saturation, if possible? can u undo a saturation after u close it? will add border through Stroke, 2px white. Flight, worked out the problem. I opened the jpg. I'll open up the psd next time xD
