I'm thinking of fantasy football 24/7 train. I've already conceptualized my draft strategy in all of my leagues.. DON'T DRAFT DANTE CULPEPPER!!! That guy killed me this year. What a slug!!

Anyways, I voted for a 18-20 man league. The reason being, is that I'm already in three different leagues besides this one and I need to simplify things... not saying that a 20 man league would be simple. LOL! I think this way we'll include everyone on the fun. I am not opposed to two seperate leagues either, so let's see how the voting goes.. =)

Why can't we do a 20 man league

    2 conferences - AFC / NFC
    4 Divisions AFC North
    AFC South
    NFC North
    NFC South

    5 teams per divison

    Each Conference drafts seperately
Each team plays everyone in their division twice and out of their division once and the Champion of each conference plays each other on Week 16 for a Superbowl?

    What do you guys think?

I love it. Is there FF software out there that can handle that degree of detail?

    Wonderful idea steeler fan why
couldnt we all think of that before lol.
Sounds good to me im interested.
I think majority of votes could
give you an idea of what people
want for the league. I like the idea
of me being in the nfc south lol.

what about a head to head league with up to 32 teams broken into conferences just like the NFL??? I woudl love that idea if we could fill the teams of close to it, i do not support turning people away though, unless we get to 32

we could do that and have 16 teams per side. it would make a hard schedule and draft, but it could be done.

Im willing to help work on it, as long as we get the best league possible....Im very excited about a large league, because of the challenge of finding depth, as far as the draft goes, we dont have to use a live draft, we could do it by message board if we cant get everyone togehter, it would prolly take a few weeks like that, but it is possible(i still prefer the live draft option though, or maybe the 1st 5 rds live and the rest by messages if time is that big of a factor)

    SF,

The way I'm reading it, each conference conducts their own draft. That means that there will be two Priest Holmes, two Peyton Mannings, etc - one for each conference?

If that's the case, then this solves any problem with league size and getting quality players. I'd like to change my vote, I am now in favor of the 2 conference league, regardless of whether we have 20 or 32 teams.

Yes, that resolves the size issue. If we split the conferences up and have 2 separate drafts, then we won't be drafting 4th string running backs.

Just keep in mind Beef, it's a lot of work running any league, and when you get into a 20 man + league, the work load becomes rather heavy. I'm not saying I won't do it, but just make sure that you realize what it takes to manage that kind of league.

Sf, maybe you should cancel out the post
and put in the new one, i know people who
voted want to change there votes [IMG]

The draft for each confrence in 20 man
league would work out perfect. Drafting for
all 32 teams wouldnt work not everyone is
in the same time zone, yet alone can make
the drafts. Keep it simple it works for me.

    Etrain,

We don't need to have all 32 guys present at the same time. We can have two different 16-team drafts, and you only need to attend one of them. 16 teams is much faster than a 20 team draft.
