Who do you think has the best Central Midfield in the Premiership? Just a few examples... Liverpool-Gerrard,Alonso,Sissoko,Mascherano Chelsea-Lampard,Ballack,Essien,Makelele Man.Utd-Scholes,Carrick,Fletcher Arsenal-Fabregas,Gilberto,Flamini
Chelsea, but it doesnt matter if they have bigger names. United are the better team at the moment. Look at madrid as a perfect example
I think Chelsea, not because i'm a Chelsea fan but just looking at it, shame Ballack hasn't performed too well this season. Although, Man Utd have been playing better. It doesn't matter how big the names in the team are or what they could or have been seen to do. It's how they perform every game. Unfortunately Man Utd have done.
Thats why Chelsea are fighting for first, in the champions league and FA cup and Arsenal are fight for fourth and have bombed out of all tournaments they were in?

Fabregas and Gilberto have not really done much this season anyway. You've got the shittest CM our of the four.

Liverpool have the best, then Chelsea then Man Utd(after Tuesday night Fletcher and Carrick were awesome) and then Arsenal.
We got Alonso who is in his prime, one of the best passers in the world. Mascherano who is a great defensive player who has a intelligent mind of football. Sissoko a great play stopper who has been dubbed the next Viera. Steven Gerrard is one of the best players in the world. And if all them players are out we got a experienced veteran Zenden.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal/United (Fletcher and Flamini) :/ Chelsea also have Mikel who plays a CM role, amongst others. Kyle: Zenden is a winger, and not a very good one, hence Chelsea getting rid. =)

Makelele who is one of the best (if not the best) defensive midfielder in the world. Lampard who is one of the best midfielders in the world, and Ballack who is one of the best on paper, but only very rarely shows it nowadays. Mikel looks like a good young player with a lot of potential as well. To be honest, I think it's tied between Liverpool and Chelsea. We'll find out who's got the best in the Champions League Semi's.
