If United beat A.C.Milan in the semi's we will be faced with the prospect of an all English final,some may say made up of foreign imports,but the fact remains these players perform week in and week out in front of packed English stadiums. The atmosphere and noise that can be generated at Anfield or Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford can play it's part in lifting the pace and intensity,thus providing the conditions for the players to produce their best. With the match destined to be played in Athens in May there is a real prospect of a European final being played at the frenetic pace of a Premier league game,one possible fly in the ointment, UEFA's appointment of the official and linesmen..let's hope they have the foresight to get the best personnel in place,Graham Pol need not apply.
