There have been many great bargains in the history of the Premiership. Friedel was free. Ballack was free. Ronaldo was only ?12.24m, now worth maybe 5 or 6 times that. Who due you believe is the best bargain for a premiership club in the past five years, given inflation.

Which is a problem and it annoys me quite a bit. Anyway, i think John Terry was a bargain But he did come up from the youth team ... and not in the last 5 years, but still ... Bargain! I think the best bargain in the last 5 years is probably Ronaldo, sell him now and get ?50 million for him!

VDS has made some excellent saves this season and always collects the ball but does make supid mistakes now and then and he is about the 5th best in the league.
