Photoshop CS2 x CS3, what are the diferences???

    what photoshop cs3 have that the cs2 doesn't have?

    Maximized screen Mode

    Black and White Conversion Tool
    New Bridge
    Improved Cloning and Healing

    Just Some Additions.

    Also eats up more RAM.
    You need atleast 512mbRAM, 64MB of Video RAM for it to run smooth.
    Need 1024x768 Monitor too.

    They mixed imageready and photoshop into one and you can no longer open GIFs which is why most people used imageready in the first place... oh and the price XD

    So am i to assume cs3 is better as it is newer?

    Yeah I guess, at full price its going for over $3000, who is going to pay except for graphics companies etc. You can get it through college etc for about $1200 or something though for graphics students
