Wow... Sherman had to make an example of someone to appease the rabid Packer Backers. I guess Donatell was the logical choice.

I hope the Pack brings in Dick Jauron.

Sorry PA, but I hear that the LIONS are pushing for DICK to be their DC.

I've got a gut feeling Sherm will promote from within and give Duffner the job, although, I think I'd like a new face in town with either McGinnis or possibly Gunther Cunningham.

Dick Jauron might just thrive as the DC in Green Bay. It's hard to tell. I always find it interesting when a HC fails (gets fired) and goes back to OC or DC. I mean, look at Dom Capers. He was a great DC for Pittsburgh and snagged the Carolina HC job, was fired and was demoted back to DC, but then when the Houston job came up, he was rehired as a HC. Sometimes coaches need to come into their own. I think Capers has done a good job with the Texans. Jauron may find the same success.

Looks like Jauron and Cunningham have found new jobs... I'd like to see McGinnis at this point. I don't think that any of the guys currently on the staff could or would do any better than Donatell, who was essentially made a scapegoat for the Eagles loss.
