He comes on with a name saying "United4ever" and he talks the biggesr pile of cow dung saying United should buy Bullard, Ridgewell and ANDY FN Johnston. Swear to god if he said that inside Old Trafford he'd be thrown out of the stands.

lol ok flight you've proven your point.

I agree with flight but, theres plenty of strikers united could bring in (the badge alone makes players from around the world want to play at OT). So, if thats true, then why not go all out and bring in a world class striker, someone whos proven themself.

Sure Johnston may have skill but united are a top european club (probably the best atm) and in order to stay there, they need world class players who perform consistently. Look how poorly arsenal have gone this year compared to previous seasons because of a lack of world class (and proven) talent.

There were rumblings of Jermain Defoe for £6m 10 days or so ago. Anyone else think that's an absolute steal? A very quick poacher-style striker who is a proven striker in the Premiership. His pace and finishing would slot in very nicely with United's style of play and he'd be a great compliment to Rooney's power.

Jermain Defoe.. NO. Defoe isnt an all out goal scorer, and the fact that he is struggling to get into the Spurs squad at the minute tells you everything. United need a poacher, someone who can stay upfront and bag them in.

He's struggling to get games at Spurs because he doesn't compliment Berbatov as well as Keane does. His speed and finishing would be a great addition to the club. Remember, he's still only 24 as well.

Personally, i think hunterlaar would be a good buy. Hes certainly proven himself in the eredivisie, and for the oranje too.

Another v.nistelrooy type striker, a natural goal scorer is what united should be looking for during the summer.

Yeah, but we'll have to work on the pronunciation of his name, i mean Klaas-Jan Hunterlaar?!

At least hes not a 'Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink'

But if hunterlaar scores goals, who cares i guess

you need a good striker and a world class central midfielder. You need a player like Fabregas who controls the game Carrick is good but not as much class as Fabregas. For the Striker i think Fernando Torres would be a good signing as he is a top class player
