Im thinking of buying a new PC a 512MB of Ram ones but the question is can I just buy the tower.. Not a new keyboard.. not a new monitor just the tower... if yes how much would it cost round about?
Beggsy, what are you looking to do with the pc? If you walk into a pc shop, thats the 1st thing theyll ask you. And I agree with flight, certainly get greater than 512MB of ram, i got 2GB. Also, get DDR2 ram as its faster. I just got a new comp: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 ghz 2GB DDR2-RAM Nvidia 7900GTX 512MB For that, i ordered the parts separately, and got a local pc shop to build it for me
If your gonna use it for gaming, a good guide is to look at the recommended system requirements of new games, and go one step above them.

Just research what you want in a comp (ie: what type of processor etc) and buy it at a local shop. Theyre generally cheaper.

Why not build your PC Case no more then £40 quid for a nice looking one e.g. this for £39.99 on Xcase Database Design Software
