One might call me an anarchist or even a communist, but I am against massive corporations, television and other media stating what they deem as truth, the purpose of life being accumulating wealth and buying as much stuff as possible, etc. I am also abhorred by the ammount of feeble minded people who do things just cause everyone else does them. "Hey he's fat, I guess that makes it okay for me to spend my monthly pay in McDonalds" or "My whole class smokes cigarettes, hence I will too". Just cause someone tells you something is true or doing something is okay, it doesn't mean it is. Furthermore, no. Money doesn't grant happyness. Neither does excessive ammounts of anything, especially food or drugs/alcohol/tobacco. People just need to stop being lazy and think for their damn selves. What grants them happyness, not the majority. What they like to do, not the majority. /endrant Yeah, I'm still high.
First and foremost im a Libertarian. You nailed in on the head when you said "people need to think for themselves". Corperations aren't forcing people to do ANYTHING. Corperations, in fact, are separate entities with the intent to generate wealth. Thats all! They aren't "good" or "evil", they are just bringing supply to people demand. And if people want to eat shitty, cheap, good tasting food then thats whats given to us. People become more health conscious and bam now McDonalds supplies salads and all sorts of other healthier shit. People love to blame big business. At the end of the day big business is at the mercy of YOUR WALLET, and in a good financial system it always will be. Thats why communism is bullshit, because you no longer get those choices. And thats the real difference between me and a communist. I believe people should have the opportunity to make the right choices. You seem to believe people need the right choice forced down their throats.
im a lad anyway, you cant say hey should stop spending loads of money on maccy ds and do something that makes them happy, because that does make people happy. people arent spending money and thinking hmmm what to i dislike the most that will make me sad. they buy things the want and need and what will make them happy. your trying to do what sociologists do and categorise everyone into categories, its not doable, not now not ever so things like are always going to be criticised
