Chelsea's new signing?

I heard on Portuguese press that chelsea might be signing quaresma. He's now 23 and playing some of his best football. Do you think there's any chance he could do good for Chelsea?

Good player. Didn't make the grade at barca but has matured alot since then. Not quite sure how he'd fit into the Chelsea team? Maybe Robben or SWP leaving to give Quaresma a place cos I can't see him going to Chelsea to sit on the bench!

 

Chelsea need defensive cover, not another attacking wing player.

I really hope they buy him instead of addressing their real issues.

He is right and im also hoping the same way he does

 

Why do they want him?

If anything they should be focusing on their lacklustre defence IMO.

When Roman has already said he's finished spalshing the Roubles on anyone and everyone?

Jose (providing he's still around) will have to sell before he can buy. Quaresma alone will be close to ?20m. I can't see him raising that much selling the few squad players they have that other clubs want, as none of the first choice XI will be going and Robben won't be going for that much given his fitness record and attitude.
