So funny, Chip, I forgot to laugh? Ah, the legendary wits that Raider fans are known for..... half of it anyway.

Hey, based on past performance, the more dolphin fans the better as far as I'm concerned. As I recall, the Fantasy Bowl was all AFC West last year. [IMG]

Based on my keen mind I have discerned that you think me a half (of a typical RAIDER fan wit. I can't account for the intelligence of my brethren any more than you can account for... I'll have to finish this tomorrow... I just used up my half wittiness for the day. [IMG]

Did I insinuate you were a half wit? Shame on me. Its all good. I had to throw in a Monty Python related barb i.e. John Cleese in the last James Bond

As for the FFL, you realize all 3 Dwo-ites were in the top 8.

I think I'll leave all the witty banter to you & SF. I just can't keep up as I've got tuna nets to avoid.

There were only fourteen teams. Only four made the playoffs. And...
    1. I didn't understand the rules.
    2. The auto draft screwed me.
    3. I drafted too early.
    4. I drafted too late.
    5. My IP screwed me.
    6. I didn't understand the rules.
    7. The draft went too fast.
    8. The draft went too slow.
    9. SF took all the Steelers
    10 Wait till next year!

Did I mention that I didn't understand the rules?

That's the great thing about fantasy football... Every year is a new start, and luck does play a part.

As I stated above, I don't understand how this FFL stuff works. Did we really advance eight of our fourteen teams into the second season?

How about only 4 playoff teams per conference....with no regard to how many teams we have? 10 team conference - 4 playoff teams, 16 team conference - 4 playoff teams.

Last year 8 of the teams made the playoffs....I was the 4th seed and lost to the 5th seed in round 1, I believe BA was the #1 seed and lost to the 8th seed...he may have been the #2 or #3....Im pretty sure that half the top seeds went out right away....

4 Division winners per conference sounds good.

If You have 32 teams why wouldn't you have 6 per conference like the NFL has?

It's all a matter of having enough weeks to fill out a playoff schedule. Every week of playoffs takes away from a regular season game. With sixteen team conferences, we are already in a situation where in a straight head to head league you won't play all of the teams in your conference... Unless we double up one week (play two opponents), but someone might have a horrible week and be stuck with two losses all at once. How would you feel if the week of your most harmful byes you had to play two games? The weeks without byes are one & two, and eleven through seventeen. Weeks fifteen through seventeen are playoff weeks with an eight team playoff. That?s assuming a playoff game in week 17 which can really suck since you can never be very sure of what players and teams will be giving you an honest effort.

The other thing is, what do you do with the extra ?Wildcard? teams? Without throwing in a bye for playoff teams, the numbers don?t add up for match-ups in a conference format.

I wasn't thinking of the extra week for the two conference champs. And I agree I hate leagues that have playoffs on the last week of the season. Though with how close the NFL has been lately teams need that last game for Home field or just to get in alot more than they used to.

U can give people bye weeks in the playoffs. I think it would work fine but everyone is looking at it all wron g. These are two seperate leagues. My question is ARE WE GOING TO ACTUALLY HAVE A FFL SUPER BOWL or will there be 2 teams that create a league next year and face of for 1 game
