Are you sure 80% is shit? Just rechecked, it's 83%. Statistically, the most frequent passer in the premiership, Cesc Fabregas is on 82%. Xabi Alonso is 81%, Frank Lampard is 79% and Gilberto Silva is 82%. Gerrard is 77%. Not sounding so terrible, is it? I won't brag but Scholes is the best percentage at 91% of passes completed. When your midfielders are only letting stray less than 3 passes out of every 20 between them, that's not shabby at all. This is beside the point though. This is a Tevez thread. I've proved that Carrick is a good passer, better than anyone at Liverpool and that issue is now buried. As for Tevez at United. He's too similar to Rooney, in my opinion. I was very excited by the reports about Fergie going for Eto'o earlier in the week and he's exactly who we want. Someone with pace to keep up with Ronaldo, Giggs and Rooney but also someone who is lethal inside the box. Eto'o is proven at the highest level and does exactly those things and very well too.
Plus Eto'o has a very strong friendship with Rio Ferdinand due to working together on anti-racism campaigns.
