<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pats37)</div><div class='quotemain'>Without a doubt the biggest for me as well. So what is the thought on the two leagues. Is it going to be noone in either league can have the same players?</div> What we've been saying the whole time is that you *can* have the same player in both conferences (leagues). So plan your draft strategy just as you would if you were joining a 16-team league. The winners of both conferences(leagues) play each other for the final game.
So, it's 15 weeks head to head, then the best record in each league goes up against each other? Or is there a playoff b/t the top 4 (4/32)or 8 (8/32) teams in each league?
It will be 13 weeks head-to-head and then a three week playoff system ending with the AFC Champ playing the NFC Champ. Most likely everyone will play their division foes twice, another whole division, and then 3 random games against teams from the other two divisions. (If we have a 4 division per conference like the NFL does)

We could make it interesting and do it by total number of posts...<evil laugh>...or I can randomize the numbers of the people signed up and use that as the draft order...that would take about 2 seconds...
something like this: AFC: 3 31 12 19 5 8 26 18 11 7 15 32 29 10 21 14 NFC: 9 20 1 6 2 27 22 23 25 16 4 28 17 30 24 13 the numbers equal the position you signed up on the sign-up sheet randomized by www.randomization.com edit: except, I don't want the first pick, so I'd be happy to randomize again until I get the exact position I want... :-D
Sounds like random mandness Matt.... I'm sure we'll be able to randomize properly. I think if we end up using yahoo, they do it for you.
Cool this is going to be crazy. I really can't wait just cause it's goiing to be real tough. I still wish we couldn't have any duplicate players in the Conferences though. Ya Yahoo sets the draft order 1/2 hour before the draft.
last year we knew the draft order a few weeks before the draft...I prefer that, it gives us time to trade if we choose to do so...
There won't be duplicates within the conference. Each conference will have it's own draft to pull talent from. Two 16 team drafts. I wouldn't do a 32 team draft... I'm not so sure it would be fun.
I have never done fantasy football, so it will be fun, would SF please post all the rules and everything about the league when you know all of them
Bet ya he'll be a helluva league manager too... Keep it up SF, Is the team lineups going to be 2 rb's, & 2 wr's??
It's a QB, 2 RB's, 2 WR's, TE, K, SP/D... so you start 8 each week. I'll get to the rules soon staley. It's a pretty basic scoring system. It's going to depend what software we use as well. I have software, so depending on the flexibility of yahoo, either we'll use my software or yahoo. I was also thinking of buying a league on cbs sportsline.

Yeah, we shouldn't stop taking names down. It's possible that some folks will decide that they can't play one week before the draft (like last year). A list of alternates is a great idea.
