The best player with a goals to game ratio is Drogba in the Premiership. He has scored on average 1 in 1.8 games (all competitions). However, Henry (1 in 2.25) has a better goal to game ratio than Ronaldo (1 in 2.26) and Rooney (1 in 2.34). Van Persie has 1 in 2.4. I am not criticizing Rooney and Ronaldo. I think they are both great players but imagine what Arsenal would have done if they were both fit for the rest of the season. If Van persie continued this ratio he would probably have scored 21 goals and Henry would have scored around 22 goals. These extra goals could have really helped Arsenal and I feel that if they are both fit for next season, I see no reason why we cannot be challenging for trophies more often. What are your thoughts?
Let's not forget Kewell finished with a 1 goal in every 2 games ratio this season. Perhaps Liverpool could of won the Premiership aided by his goals.
