Robbie will leave us and has played the last game in Anfield on this Sunday. I hope the Sky has it otherwise how can I watch him in our red shirt for his last game for our team. I always believe He has a plenty more to offer for our team. Honestly, it is just an unfortunate he has been ruined out by Houiller and Phil Thompson before at 2001. Also, it has been hardly co-operated well between him and owen. Otherwise, I am sure he will even be a greater hero of us. I love Rushie because he taught Robbie how to be a good striker, the traditional striker can get the job done everywhere in the box. John, I hope we will have another one like Rushie, Robbie and Micheal but it is very hard to find someone like this nowadays. Honestly, I have bias to Robbie because I was crazy to support Liverpool since 1988 and I have travelled to watch a game from Hong Kong 10 years before, you know how much I love the club. Ian Rush, John Barnes, Peter Beardsley, Steve Mcmanaman, Jamie Redknapp, Jamie 'Carra' and many more kop stars were growing up with me together in the most happiness period during my childhood and teenage time. I hope Liverpool can keep their traditional and using more players from Ireland and UK like the era before. As a result, the glory and his legacy will turn to be our memories and I will never forget what he has done for our team especially to score a hat-trick within 5 minutes against Arsenal to make anyone against Robbie is one of our top Kop to be silent. I wish him all the best and he really deserves more than this for what he has got now. He is a real idol that all Brit strikers should learn from. I am annoyed that people trying to compare how success of Wayne Rooney with Robbie, but in my mind if Rooney playing Rugby Union or League will be more suitable and successful than what he has achieved now.
I am a true Robbie fan. Not only because he was a great player, but he is a true d-hard LFC fan. you can just see it in his eyes that he wants the best of lfc. there's not much sentiment in football these days, but he halfed his salary to come to lfc. Also, he went to the last champions league final whilst still as man city, as a fan - can u believe that - he actually bought a ticket and went as a true fan. and now he's in the squad for the final next week. A dream result against ac milan will be for folwer to score the winner, but I'm not sure if he's going to be given the chance. I just wish we could offer him a role at anfield - I'm sure he would jump at the chance to be a coach with kids. He's so in love LFC I'm sure he'll even accept a job as a ball boy / security role smiley To robbie, and true GOD.
even though im a united fan, tribute to robbie, he has been exceptional in the premiership and i wish him all the best
Robbie was a genius and one of the best finishers there as ever been. The lad had everything ,he could even win headers he should of had no chance of getting to. I sit near the front at Anfield and when he walked past on Sunday you could see how upset he was. At least he got a proper send off this time just a shame he got subbed a minute earlier. I'm sure he could still do a job for a smaller team like Arsenal and show them how to hit the net.
i think robbie fowler is a very good player and no matter where he goes next he will still be able to score goals. it was unlucky (or lucky whichever way you look at it) that michael owen was at liverpool at the same time because robbie didnt get enough praise for what he did. good luck robbie! thats also from an united fan.
