With all the hype and expectation around Lennon, does anyone think we (spurs) rely too heavily on him? He hasn't had a brilliant season, partly due to injury and (i think) lack of confidence, does anyone think we should buy an experienced winger, not to replace him but to look up to and maybe ease the pressure, since Malbranque hasn't yet got into form?
Lennon needs to stop thinking that every single thing he does on the football pitch needs to be done at full pace. Before he even receives the ball he's sprinting. I know this is his great attribute, but he needs to know when to use it. I wish he would take the ball look around to see whats happening around him and then make a decision whether to up the tempo or play a simple pass to keep the move going. Sometimes he just seems to do aimless running around.
Lennons got alot of quality he just needs to build on the experience, I think bringing someone in that has that would be a good idea for him to build on his career
Remember he is still a young player and I think now a day team rely to much on young players to play great week in week out like Celtic with Aiden McGeady, United with Ronaldo and Rooney. They are bound to have a bad day but McGeady has to many for me.
