It's funny, but everybody I know that's entered the workforce dealing with customers has become somewhat racist. But it's not that we hate other races, it's just that out job gets a lot easier when we discriminate. An example: I work in a theater, and we have 2 separate theaters down the same hallway showing Spiderman 3. White people will have a clue as to how movie theaters work, and will check their theater number, remember what the doorman said, and enter the right movie. Other races, on the other hand, often just enter the first theater that says Spiderman 3 on the marquee. So when I see people walking in, I discriminate, based on physical appearances, mainly race and age. I used to not discriminate, but it was useless to do so; white people consistently knew where they were going, and the others didn't. So the question is, is it ethical for me to be doing this? Is this racism? If it isn't, where do we draw the line?
As long as you don't walk up to some young black kid and go, "HEY NIGGER, WRONG FUCKING MOVIE THEATER YOU DUMB USELESS CHICKEN EATING SCRUM." I don't think its racism. As long as you keep it to yourself and don't let anyone know, who's to care? I stereotype people alot, but I don't hate them, I give people a chance.
you stereotype people that isnt rasist but it doesnt meen it is good, stereotype is a first stap to racism so stop it
everyone stereotypes, the person that comes up to me and says they dont stereotype is going to get a punch and stamped in an ink that doesnt come off easly saying liar. everyone stereotypes, whether its race, age or appearance and its human nature, you cant stop it. sure the world suggests its wrong, but also the world suggests that bah bah blacksheep is racist even though its jut stating colours, and also white boards and black boards so fuck the world, their rules dont make sence. none gets hurt by the stereotyping in this case, infact it helps many people, teaches people how cinemas work and causes less hastle for customers and employees
Calling someone a nigger isnt necassarily racist, calling a chinese man yellow face or gook isnt either a pakistani a paki? no i dont think so, now nailing em to a cross soaking em in petrol sticking a tyre round their necks and setting fire to em.now that might be considered being a bit racist
It is called judging I guess, When you see a black, asian or mexican walk into the wrong theater and you think useless twat. You might also think the next black, asian or mexican you see is a useless twat when he might be the guy who cures cancer for all we know. To stop your thoughts just point them in direction to where they are supposed to go.
Racism to me is actually doing something. Lynching for example. Calling them mean names doesn't count in my books.
