Sir Alex says he would want to buy 3 players in the summer, I reckon 1 would be a striker and 1 would a be a DM. And another 1 could be anybody. Chelsea looks to not have any big name signings in the summer, Liverpool has 40mil to spend but the last one was around 30-35mil and Arsenal are having problems. So could United do it again?

Hopefully Arsenals Youngsters can gel better over the summer and if we get some big signings (Saviola,Free and Ribery for around 15 mil) then we can get the much needed experience to challenge for the title.

I'm just hoping that the famous quote 'you'll never win it with kids' isn't true for Arsenal this season[IMG]

If we can't play that well and Chelsea don't sign anyone then Man Utd have the stronger team IMO.

Liverpool have never really proved themselves in the EPL IMO. For such a big club they have underperformed every season since the Premiership has started. Arsenal have had a few bad seasons but hopefully we can give our title shot a boost[IMG]

I can't see United winning it again. But I can't see Chelsea winning it, but then I can't even see Liverpool or Arsenal turning up this season.

I don't know who'll win it, it's all up in the air for mine.

I heard he was off to Real Madrid.

I think that we were the easily the best team this year and we will be stronger next year so we have a great chance of retaining it.

Quite a dilemma you've created there twofivefive!

Who's it to be? 'Boro? Spurs perhaps? Or Blackburn!? [IMG]

But if blackburn keep hold of key players i.e. Mccarthy, Pederson etc then you should get Uefa Cup.

United have every chance of retaining.

Chelsea are losing their midfield lynchpin Claude Makelele for absolutely nothing this summer and will probably sell Shaun Wright-Phillips and/or Arjen Robben. Also rumblings of Drogba to AC Milan for £30m. Abramovich has already said that Moaninho will have to sell players to spend the big bucks. They'll, essentially, have the same squad as last year.

United haven't lost anyone and are adding the pieces we are still missing. Look set to add Owen Hargreaves and also chasing hitmen such as Huntelaar, Torres and even Alfonso Alves from Heerenveen. Also look set to pip the London clubs to Micah Richards too since he wants to stay up north.

Arsenal is Richards' team which he's supported all his life and has said a move to the gunners would be a dream move[IMG]

But Citeh officials already spoke to him about an approach from Manchester United and he said he'd love to go there as he wouldn't have to move and leave his family and friends. Plus, they'll be able to command more money from Manchester United than from Arsenal due to them being rivals etc. United apparently offered Richardson as part of the deal and Citeh perked up a lot since they have no real wing players and look to be losing Barton.

hmm fair enough but if i wee with a shite team and i got offered to Man Utd or Arsenal and i supported Arsenal then surely he'd go with Arsenal. but i suppose if Citeh wanna ass-rape Richardson then it's down to them at the end of the day[IMG]

Young players families are sometimes more important than whether they support the club. It'll be a battle between heart and head for him, for sure. I'd stay with my family, especially given he's only 18, nearly 19. He'd be on his own down in London since his immediate family is up in Manchester and his roots are in Birmingham.

Another reasont o stay up north would be that Ian Wright wants to take him under his wing.

One hour with that excitable git and I'd cave his face in with the nearest blunt object.

Yes if United buy the rite players...

    Huntelaar
    Hargreaves
    Ribery
    Richards

They would be my dream signings for the summer.
    Hargreaves done deal.
    Huntelaar is a strong possability.
    Ribery.. alot of compitition.
Richards childhood team is Arsenal.. But as some1 sed in this forum he would like to go to United because he dosn't have to leave his friends and family.

Chelsea (accoiding to reports) are going to give shefchenko another chance & bring in Benni McCarthy for extra fire power.
IMO McCarthy won't do aswell for Chelsea as he did for Blackburn.

But knowin Chelsea they wont just bring in ONE player BUT if United get a 20+ goal's a seson striker, Ronaldo keeps gettin the goals, A good defensive midfeilder & another winnger then they will retain the title [IMG]

I can see united doin again, they need to bring in another striker, it will be tough but I think they'll do it and if not itz gna be Chelsea I cant see liverpool or arsenal challenging for the title (depending on who liverpool buy my opinions might change) [IMG]

I think Torres will go, I think Huntelaar is just too young for the job now, Torres is also young but he is the captain of Athletico Madrid side and he has a pretty gd record in the Spanish league instead of Huntelaar playing in the Dutch league. I see Torres as a big potential signing for the club.

I think Chelsea will bounce back. PLayers back from injury. So much pressure and hunger to win
