Something I've come to notice amongst people I know who support the big clubs is that most of them seem to want Milan to win tonight. I simply cannot understand this because a Liverpool win tonight would be only good for the English League. As I West Ham fan I thought it was an honor to be in the same league as the European Champions when Liverpool won the trophy last time out. Are the fans of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United jealous? After all, they aren't going to overtake Liverpool's Champions League haul are they? If any of these clubs were to reach 5 (or maybe 6) Cl trophies we can all bet that Liverpool would win it a few times in this period as well. Whereas fans of smaller clubs are comfortable with this I sense other supporters are not so. I can understand that Man United fans wouldn't want them to win, but the others have no excuse. We should all get behind the team that is representing our league tonight.
It's not Jealousy, it's more to do with the snooby fans who throw it in your face at every encounter. However I can take that and will be gunning Liverpool tonight. Most of all, let's hope the game is a thriller.
I think it was Brian Laudrup who said for the sake of Football Milan have to win tonight...my sentiments exactly.... you cant call yourselves the best of anything Liverpool......... 3rd best in england....
I think this is also quite a unique case as Milan shouldn't really be in the Champions League in some people's eyes. Maybe Liverpool need to win tonight for the good of football. Oh well, all the people supporting Milan tonight would be the first to point out the good record of English clubs (mainly down to Liverpool) if somebody was to label our league as weak.
Why on earth should I, a die hard Man U Fan, support the team I hate the most? I couldnt care if if it was for the greater good for English Football, it's not benefiting United in anyway, the CL trophy isnt going in our cabinet. I'll be following Milan tonight.

I am dreading a Liverpool win tonight, i am gunning for Milan...6 times..6 times... I dont wanna hear from Pool fans. Screw English Football, as long as it aint Utd i support against any English club.
