    From SkySportsNews this morning.

There is absolutely no way that we should even entertain the notion of selling Van Persie. Not even for three times that.

The guy is going to be a revelation in the Prem next season, given an injury free run.

They also reported that Boro are considering a move for Aliadiere...I don't mind that so much

But we must keep RVP. I think he is one of the younger players in our squad who is really beginning to realize his potential, and in all likelihood, he could well be the 20-30 goal a season striker that we have been looking for to take the burden off Henry

    Thoughts?

If sky reported this, they pinched the story from the Mirror... which we all know is a highly respectable rag. Even if true, Wenger would never sell RVP, and even if he was, £8mil? Must have made Wenger spit out his cornflakes with laughter.

Arsenal would be stupid to sell him for any price, he's got alot of quality which is what Arsenal are in desperate need of, look whats happened to them this season with RVP and Henry injured. I cant see him going anywhere.

If i was to sell Van Persie i would sell for at least 15mil. He is a quality player and it would be stupid to sell him.

van persie is priceless.. arsenal wont sell him no matter what the price is.. boro have been after aliadiere for a while now.. but we should keep him just incase we get a few injuries and need someone to back up.. and he will get better and be a really good player in years to come..

8mil?Thats like not even the half of the price I would say RVP is worth for. He has quality but I think he needs a good young striker upfront wit him. I'd say sell Henry and get Eto'o

Definitely won't happen. RVP is worth so much more and not just in money but to Arsenal. He's a quality player and next season, if he stays injury-free, he'll score plenty.
