I see we finally signed SHEA to be our OC. What do you think about this move KCGSC? I hope it is a good one for us, and he had success with you guys so hopefully he will bring that success with him. If so I must thank you but I better hold off on that for now. Will this affect the CHIEFS in any way? Are you guys looking for another QB coach?

The Chiefs are looking at moving up some offensive assistant up. I can't cough up the name just now. Vermeil and Al Saunders are a hair away from letting Green have Manninglike control over the playcalling anyway. Manning goes to the line with a handful of plays and selects one based on what he's reading in the defense. KC Brass thinks Green is smart enough to have that same freedom.
Shea managed to help Green get his INT #'s down significantly over the past 2-3 years. I think Shea was also the WR coach at ST. Louis under Vermeil. One of the Rams trademarks at that time was the crispness and precision of their WRs route running. I think he will do a good job for you guys. It would have been nice to have retained his services, but Al Saunders has been all but promised the reigns when Vermeil retires, so I don't blame Shea for wanting to find him a spot. Good luck to the Bears.

That's impressive for Green. I've always thought that a good, or should I say great, quarterback should have control over the playcalling. Too many HC's and/or OC's don't use their quarterback's judgement enough. I'd like to see more offenses give their QB's Manning-like control. Of course only when appropriate, but it would be great to see.
