Theres been many foreign players over the years. Now theres more foreign players than ever. But who was the greastest foreign player of them all in Premiership history. Cantona? Zola? Henry? Di Canio? Bergkamp? Ronaldo?
between Bergkamp or Henry or maybe Zola IMO. Ronaldo will be up there just needs to prove last season wasn't a fluke(It wasn't a fluke but you never know)
IMO, it has to be Cantona. He won so many titles while he was in England, and as good as players like Bergkamp, Henry and Zola were, he was the best.
Cantona...for the effect he had on the club. We were in sort of a crisis b4 he came and then when he came he just suddenly clicked with the players and he is just soo inspirational on the pitch. Henry, Zola and Bergkamp are great players but none of them had effected the club like Cantona did
Ohh ahh Cantona. Such a brilliant player and could make an ass out of any player. He was such an important figure for us during his stay.
Bergkamp did. Arsenal were struggling for CL places then Bergkamp arrived and it all changed. Just wish the 'Ice Man' was still playing but we got a lot of promise in Van Persie
Cantona was diff, we were 11th I think and struggling in the league and then when we signed him after the Jan transfer window and then we won because of him. He just wins trophies time after time
I will never forget the Goal That Won The Double from Cantona against Liverpool I have a painting of that in my room
Yea that was magical...He also scored a wonder goal against Sunderland and I will never forget when Manu played against Chelsea in the 93/94 season i think...and he hit the bar from the half-way line and Martin Tyler the commentator said "Who needs Pele when u got Cantona?" I loved that moment
yeh lol i seen that on youtube lol. Cantona was a good morale booster but didn't stay long enough to become a truly great Premiership player. Maybe if he finished his career a little bit later maybe
he should have signed earlier for the club and max could u show me the video? I wanna see that again ^^
Cantona all the way he was an amazing player that could turn any game around, then I'd have to go with Henry.
Its between Cantona and Henry. Cantona has won a stack of titles with Man Utd and Henry has scored a stack of goals in the Premier League. It is very hard to pick.
Giggs. No doubt. Same high level for years, a real artist, excellent vision, in a great day, half Utd himself alone...

Wow its so amazing even though I saw it many times...But does anyone have the video where Cantona hit the bar from the half way line?
I love that goal. I just love how Cantona reacted, he just stood there with his head held up high. Great Goal.
All you lot shouting for Cantona i think you missed out a more influential foreigner who won a lot more games for you a certain Mr Shmeichel. Also the Sunderland goal if you look the final pass Cantona was offside.
