Liverpool for me, Remember when they were getting beat by Arsenal 6-3 at Anfield and they all started singing "You Never Walk Alone" in the 90th Minute and they were getting beat at Athens and never stopped singing either.
I know my opinion is biased but I would have to say Charlton fans are 1 of the best (obviously we're not in the Prem any longer though) we kept singing all the way to the end, in fact we got louder as the season went on, and at Charlton v Chelsea like most games when we were losing we completly drowned out the opposing fans.
Liverpool are the most passionate fans, but Manu has the most popular fanbase but I still go with Liverpool

What defines "the best" though? Loudest support, distance travelled to away games, numbers at away games, choice of songs, etc

Maybe the bets rem fans this season have to be either West Ham, as thye neevr gave up hope of survivng relagation or watford, neither tho thye finished bottom thye sang their hearts out every single match.
If Man Utd sing like they do at away games at home games then there will be no doubt that we will have the best fans.
You didnt sing much at Celtic Park especially when Nakamura scored, The only chants I can remember from the United fans were He plays on the Left He Plays ON THE RIIIIGHT THAT BOY RONALDO MADE ENGLAND LOOK SHITE When we were singing You'll Never Walk Alone they chanted something but I couldnt hear it cause Celtic Fans out sang them UNITED UNITED Ohhh and they chanted Keano

I went to the FA Cup 4th round at Old Trafford, there was 3,500 of us give or take some and we completely drowned out the crowds there, fair enough there was some faint chants of "United, United" but nothing deafening from 72,000 People. Don't believe anything in the S*n. Liverpool hold the record in this country for decibels during a match. In fact they hold the top 3 places. 1- V Chelsea CL Semi 05 2 V Juventus CL 3- V Chelsea at Cardiff Carling Cup Final Don't know if they've been beat yet. They tried to beat it at an England match at Old Toilet with an orchestrated chant but still couldn't.
