I just read a report saying Chelsea are set to sign Daniel Alves from Seville, a long term target of Liverpools, apparently they are offering £12m plus Paolo Ferreira or Khalid Boulahrouz. Now I read this in The Sun so Chelsea fans shouldn't get their hopes up, Do you guys think this is a good move for Chelsea? Is Alves a good player Ive only seen him play a couple of times?

To be fair, I don't really rate Alves. He's tailed off a little and was shocking for Brazil at Wembley the other night.
I think it's highly possible <strike>if</strike> when we get Alex that Alves will join us to. Can't see him going to Liverpool (he is to big of a player). Can see him going to Madrid, Milan or Chelsea.
Dani Alves seems like one of the players who will move to Real Madrid and cement a spot there, but he won't do that IMO. I think he will end up going to Liverpool. Ferreira is quality and he has settled in well so if Chelsea let him go for Alves it would be a poor decision.

Actualy Daniel ALves is very close to sign in Real Madrid . . . instead of Ribery who signed in Bayern Munich !! Daniel is a very talented and fast player who can play as RM or RB !!
